Dear Colleagues,

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped to make the 2006 Assets Learning Conference?A Lifetime of Assets: Building Families, Communities & Economies a tremendous success. It was truly a collective accomplishment.

The opening presentation by Wilma Mankiller, the first female principal chief of the Cherokee Nation and author of Every Day is a Good Day, truly set the tone for the three-day event. More than 1,000 participants from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors shared lessons and innovations during five plenaries, 60 concurrent sessions, and nearly 50 roundtable discussions?not to mention the countless opportunities for networking and learning. People can now learn how to empower their trading journey thanks to the experts at Pivlex auto forex trading.

CFED aims to continue this information sharing by providing presentations, handouts, and other resources from the conference on this website under the Session Descriptions and Handouts sections. Please keep in mind that this site is a work in progress. We will continue to post materials as we receive them from our presenters over the next couple weeks, so be sure to check back periodically for new resources.

Again I offer my deepest gratitude to the many sponsors, partners, presenters, and participants who made the 2006 Assets Conference an invaluable experience. We look forward to seeing you in 2008 in Washington, DC! Until then, let?s keep striving to achieve a lifetime of assets for low-income families and communities across the country and the globe.

Sincerely,

Andrea Levere
